Otuya Okecha is the Managing Director at Fibresol, bringing over two decades of valuable experience in the telecom business industry. Throughout his career, Otuya has held various leadership roles, excelling in business development, sales, strategy, and organizational management both locally and internationally.
At Fibresol, Otuya led the successful monitoring and evaluation of Needle Technology’s universal service provisioning funded ICT school knowledge projects in northwest, northeast, and southwest Nigeria. He also played a key role in establishing a fruitful partnership between Fibresol and Airtel, enabling the provision of access point network solutions to top government organizations and Internet services to multinational corporations in Nigeria.
As Managing Director, Otuya actively contributed to national policy development, participating in six presidential business quarterly review sessions organized by the office of the vice president of Nigeria.
Prior to joining Fibresol, Otuya served as a strategy consultant in the chief strategy officer functional capacity to BCN, Abuja’s leading broadband service company. During this time, he collaborated with KPMG to develop and implement BCN’s 5-year strategy and business plan.
His extensive career history includes notable roles such as Head of Sales in the Abuja and northern region office for Internet Solutions (Division of Dimension Data MEA) and Head of Business Solutions & Sales at Phase3 Telecom, a prominent aerial fiber carrier company in West Africa. Otuya’s exceptional performance earned him the Best Sales Farmer award in 2013 for successfully structuring and overseeing large carrier capacity revenue portfolios utilized by the top mobile network operators in Nigeria.
Beyond the telecom industry, Otuya has gained experience in various sectors, including health, oil downstream, and financial services.
Otuya’s academic achievements are equally impressive. He majored in Industrial Mathematics and graduated with a master’s degree in Technology Management from America’s prestigious Georgetown University, achieving a remarkable 4.0 GPA. He further demonstrated his expertise by successfully publishing a Cybersecurity research paper on “The Vulnerabilities of Broadband Networks and The Challenge of Denial-of-Service Attacks.”
Otuya’s commitment to continuous learning is evident through his certifications and training from renowned institutions like Harvard, Oxford, and Stellenbosch universities. Additionally, he attended the Telecom Academy in London, KPMG Executive Education in New York, the Etisalat Academy in Dubai, and the Van Tharp Institute of Trading Mastery in North Carolina.

Ekenem Isichei is a member of Fibresol’s Executive Advisory Board and is currently the CEO of ACIOE Associates, a reputable international advisory services firm operating out of Abuja, Nigeria. He also functions as West Africa Lead for the Corporate Council on Africa and Senior Advisor to the Albright Stonebridge Group in Nigeria.
Ekenem has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Michigan. He has also taken executive education courses at Harvard University and has vast local and international work experiences in Europe, Nigeria, the United States, Canada and Trinidad & Tobago.
Ekenem has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in the areas of government relations and business process reengineering and management.
His firm currently provides advisory services to the likes of Procter & Gamble, Shell, NNPC, federal government ministries, the Albright Stonebridge Group and the Corporate Council on Africa, etc.
He helped organize private business dinner meetings between the current president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, and the US Business Community (Corporate Council on Africa and the US Chamber of Commerce).
In his spare time, he provides voluntary services to the Lux Terra Leadership Foundation and the Redeemed Church of God where he helps build youths through mentoring programmes. Ekenem was named in 2011 as one of Nigeria’s Young Emerging Leaders by the Nigerian Economic Summit Group.
Aisha Maina is a key Advisory Board member and Non-Executive Director at Fibresol and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Aquarian Consult, one of the leading business development and human resources firms in Abuja, where she has successfully utilized her unique skill sets in Business Strategy, Management & HR Consulting, and Business Development to grow Aquarian and to recently expand her company’s other business interests internationally, now operating in London and Dubai.
She started Aquarian Consult in August 2008 after consulting in power, human resources, and business development for 15 years. Aisha has over ten years of work experience as Consultant & Trainer working with intergovernmental organizations and functioning as an independent consultant.
She led her team to serve as implementation partners to the Nigerian government for the Youwin initiative basic education roadshow and has successfully worked with several public and private sector organizations. Aisha studied Biochemistry and has several certifications in management and capacity building.
She also actively participated in the 2013 Young African Leaders Initiative Town Hall meeting with President Obama. She has great initiative, is an out-of-the-box thinker, a self-starter, a team builder, and a self-motivated individual with high standards for client satisfaction.
Aisha has served as Vice President of the Abuja Business Club, Consultant AEA FCT-Wide Entrepreneurship Campaign, and Special Assistant to the FCT Secretary for Social Development. She was a Future Awards nominee.
Ahmed Bawa is a Business Advisor/Consultant at Fibresol. He is an astute Business Manager who successfully manages various Business interests covering Transportation, Communication & Hospitality sectors.
Ahmed has, over time, successfully delivered public sector contracts in various federal government ministries in Nigeria. He attended the Lake Hurst University in Cairo, Egypt, and has functioned in various management capacities for one of Nigeria’s foremost TV satellite communication companies, ABG Communications Ltd.
He also worked for GSM Dot Com, Kaduna, under Sales & Marketing. Ahmed played a key role as IT & Operations Manager for Nationwide Unity Transport Company, Abuja, that piloted the Mass Transit support scheme of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Out of Nigeria, he worked for MCV Mercedes Benz Cairo, Egypt, and was a managing partner in the running of an Abuja Eatery Businesses popularly known as Adam’s Place, and is currently a co-founder and managing partner of Burger Meal, another fast-growing Abuja eatery.
